We are doing our part to be environmentally friendly, from our products and services to our work approach. And this starts with our Certified Series program.
Precise ParkLink's Certified Series program™ is the ultimate economic and sustainable approach to meeting your on-site parking technology needs. Our exclusive program diverts approximately 1,950 tonnes (3,900,000 pounds) of waste from landfills each year. The Certified Series program is an extension of Precise ParkLink's EnviroLink program – an initiative committed to minimizing our environmental impact - the Certified Series program is a significant investment in reconditioning parking meters and their exterior and interior components. This unique program allows us to certify approximately 90% of returned material to the manufacturers' quality standards and specifications. Here's how we do it.
Exterior & Interior Reconditioning Process
Step 1- The exterior of the machine is deep cleaned in a confined sandblasting room.
Step 2- The machine is then refined using a power sander, and polished by hand for an anti-graffiti finish.
Step 3- The exterior is then primed and painted using wet-on-wet technology.
Step 4- It is baked until completely cured.
Step 5- The interior components of the machine are individually degreased and cleaned by hand using environmentally friendly products.
Step 6- The components are then updated for faster transaction speeds, secure revenue processing, longer lifecycle, and wider network coverage.
