FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Answering your questions about Precise ParkLink Cares.

+ What is corporate responsibility?

Corporate responsibility refers to the idea that businesses and corporations have a responsibility to act in a way that is socially responsible and sustainable, taking into account the impact of their operations on various stakeholders such as employees, customers, suppliers, local communities, and the environment.

Created in 2005, the EnviroLink program ensures that we abide by environmentally friendly work practices and actively work with each of our partners to reduce their carbon footprint.

+ What is the Certified Series™?

Precise ParkLink's Certified Series program™ is the ultimate economic and sustainable approach to meeting your on-site parking technology needs.

To date, Precise ParkLink has diverted more than 2.7 million kilograms of waste from landfills. The Certified Series program is an extension of Precise ParkLink's EnviroLink program – an initiative committed to minimizing our environmental impact - the Certified Series program is a significant investment in reconditioning parking equipment and their exterior and interior components.

This unique program allows us to certify approximately 90% of returned material to the manufacturers' initial quality standards and specifications

+ How does the exterior and interior reconditioning process work?

Our equipment undergoes the following reconditioning processes:

Step 1- The equipment is broken down to its individual parts and all internal componentry is removed, leaving only a shell.

Step 2- The shell is processed in our “blastcan”, where all surface materials (including decals, paint, and rust) are removed, returning the shell to its original unfinished metal state. (In case you want to know, the sand we use goes through a cleaning and recycler, where decal, paint, and rust debris are removed, allowing the sand to be reused.)

Step 3- The shell goes to the body shop for some manual TLC; using power tools and just plain sandpaper, our body shop specialists repair any areas that require it, sand down any areas the sand blaster missed, and then its polished by hand.

Step 4- The exterior is then primed and painted using automotive-grade wet-on-wet technology.

Step 5- It is baked until completely cured.

Step 6- The interior components of the machine are individually degreased and cleaned by hand using environmentally friendly products.

Step 7- The components are then updated for faster transaction speeds, secure revenue processing, longer lifecycle, and wider network coverage.
