In 2006, the PGAA selected Precise ParkLink as their technology provider. With the customer experience being a key focus for the Prince George Airport, Precise ParkLink worked to develop a parking program that would successfully meet the needs of their visitors using automation.
Over the years, PGAA has made it a priority to remain current and enhance their parking systems with upgraded technologies to meet their evolving business and customer needs effectively. In 2010 they upgraded Precise ParkLink’s initial installation of Pay-and-Display parking meters to the latest generation of Pay-by-License-Plate meter technology. And today, after a partnership with 16 years in the making, PGAA has decided to take its parking experience to the next level with Precise ParkLink’s gated parking technology.
Justin Powell, Director of Western Canada at Precise ParkLink, explains that "Precise ParkLink has witnessed first-hand how automation drastically enhances parking operations and the customer experience, especially within the airport sector. PGAA's parking program is a primary example of how technology can be used to successfully manage transactions, foster growth and advance parking programs to offer the latest generation of technology.”
Precise ParkLink is working diligently to ensure Prince George Airport's transition to the new parking system is seamless. We look forward to a continued partnership with Prince George Airport and the PGAA for many years to come.
